The media has been reporting on the trial but the reporting has been so very one sided against Jackson that it is hard to guess why the media isn't reporting on the questions from the defense...and how the accuser and his brother and sister are responding, or failing to respond. The media is only reporting the most lurid and sensational details. They don't want anyone who is not in the courtroom to be able to guess what the verdict will be, just like the O.J. Simpson trial.

Clearly, even after everything that has happened, Michael still doesn't listen to anyone, not even his lawyers. He's a fool and if he ends up in jail, he has only one person to blame, and that person is Michael Jackson.

As far as the money situation is concerned, Michael has way too many people working for him and he has created this massively expensive lifestyle for himself where he pays for everything, even his friendships. He's more like Frankenstein's monster with money, than Peter Pan. If, by some wild chance, he is found to be not guilty, he'll be even more convinced that he's "special" and "entitled" to do what he pleases. I don't think we've heard that last of these accusations.

Today is Friday. It's been a very long and exhausting week. At least the sun is shining and the snow from yesterday has melted away. I'm looking forward to a nice, peaceful weekend. I went for a walk on Wednesday and took this pic of Lake Michigan, I'm standing on the bluff known as Juneau Park, looking east. The land you see is all landfill and in the summer it is a great place to fly a kite or ride your bike or have a picnic. You can't see it in this photo but there's a lagoon where you can rent a paddle boat and even fish! The rest of the year it's an icy and univiting flatland where the wind off the lake is cold enough to freeze you solid in just a few minutes. Brrrrrr.
